Steps to Join Hunter Promise
2+2 Pathway
- Complete an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) Degree in an Eligible Major:
- Enroll at one of our CUNY or SUNY partner colleges.
- Choose an eligible major from the list below.
- Participate in Required Workshops:
- Attend workshops during your freshman and sophomore years that prepare you for transfer success, including academic planning, time management, and career readiness.
- Transfer into the same eligible Bachelor of Arts (BA) at Hunter College:
- Apply as a transfer student during your final semester of the associate degree program.
- Ensure your intended major at Hunter aligns with your associated degree program.
- Meet GPA and Program Requirements:
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in your associate degree program.
- Fulfill any program-specific requirements outlined by the Hunter Promise Program.
Hunter Promise Scholarship Eligibility:
Students who achieve a 4.0 GPA in their associate degree program will be awarded a Hunter Promise Scholarship to support their studies at Hunter.
